Hi Daniel.

They are hand cut and they are blank-backed, but none of the four's oddly shaped edges fit together. So maybe not the same sheet. They do all have the identical tight cut at the top of the card, so that does lead me to think they did all come from the same original group.

I'm usually suspicious of blank-backed T206s (thanks to Kevin S.'s very enlightening posts), but these are oversized and hand-cut, and, I believe, authentic.

Don't collect e80's, but got what I thought a great deal on this one. Has everything you want in a caramel: Great color; mis-cut; caramel stains !!!! It'd'just doesn't get better than that !!!

Nice Kotton Dougherty. Nobody mentioned the wet ink transfer on the reverse, did that play a roll in your purchase or no? Just curious as I like that kind of thing on the backs of cards.

No, the wet ink transfer that shows on the reverse wasn't a factor for me
at all, although it does add character doesn't it.
I've always liked this pose of Dougherty which is found on many other of his
"E" cards. Dougherty is also a super tough card from the Kotton set.

i have seen the Chase in person, very dramatic card...

as i was the underbidder on it, in the REA auction, i am dying to know how much it took to pry from Joe's hands...i guess that's between the 2 gentlemen...
