Was talking to some buddies yesterday, and one mentioned his Rock and Roll Mt. Rushmore. I love the music threads on here, hoping you'll tolerate one more.

I think Prince belongs due to his sheer versatility as a musician. Not to mention how the moment he had to dedicate himself to something, he did it with 100%. Also a convenient excuse to post the below video. The story behind it, apparently, Rolling Stone, left him off the list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists" and he took personal offense to this. It leads to such an incredible display of musical talent. Classic Prince flair at the end.

I remember how my parents loved the standards (and classical) and thought the Beatles and all the amazing music of the 60s and 70s I grew up with was trash.
