If money was no object, in no specific order:

1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle
1952 Topps Mickey Mantle
1953 Topps Mickey Mantle
1953 Stahl Meyer Mickey Mantle
1952 Tip-Top Bread Mickey Mantle

There might be a pattern.......

Edit: I will also say I think the 1951 Bowman, 1953 Topps, and 1953 Stahl-Meyer will be doable in my lifetime. The Tip Top bread issue and his 52 Topps won't be, short of me hitting lotto.

- Autographed 1953-54 Briggs Meats card of Pete Runnels.
- Autographed 1955 Don Wingfield postcard of Pete Runnels.
- Autographed 1961 7-11 card of Pete Runnels.

Hey, I have spent waaaaaaaaay too much time over the years studying the 1962 Topps set, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the 1962 Topps Green Tint - Wally Moon (NO HAT-graded) is a phantom card. It's simply his regular non-Green Tint that PSA mislabeled. They did label a few that way, so the slabs do exist, but they are nothing more than mislabeled cards. The pop report is rife with problems regarding all of the cards with pose changes. PSA was really lost early on with their 1962 checklist.

For instance (this is off the top of my head, but you can check the pop report to see all of the errors):

1. They graded a #159 Hal Reniff with 'Green Tint' on the label, which is completely wrong. The only greenie of Reniff is his wrongly numbered #139 card, which shows him pitching, and not as a portrait. All of his #159 cards are the regular versions.

2. Like the Moon, they have #174 Carl Willey with four different versions - with and without a cap in both regular and Green Tint form. Even though they labeled them as such, there is no such thing as a Carl Willey No Cap-Green Tint.

3. I believe early on the #132 Angels Team with the inset photos wasn't labeled as a Green Tint, even though they all are. So, there are probably 3 or 4 versions of that card in the pop, too.

Edited to add: I just checked and they also wrongly labeled a #139 Reniff portrait as a greenie. No such thing exists. All portraits, regardless of the number on back, are the regular versions.

Any of the signed 1953 Topps I still need for my set, but especially Bill Norman. He's the only one I haven't seen at all since starting nearly 10 years ago.

Really just one for me. A 1952 Topps Eddie Mathews that is kinda beat up with decent eye appeal.

THANK YOU Jolly - Ive struggled with and debated this card for a full decade. The lack of numbers always seemed like a real problem to me. At this point, Im frustrated by the entire green tint set.

You will all no doubt be shocked to learn than my list is all about my man Mays, and picking up the last few pieces on the master set, plus one that is optional, and one that probably should be on the master set:

1963 Post Cereal complete panel

1964 sports heroes stickers (oddly enough, I have the full sheet with Mays, which PSA has declined to slab, but I don’t have the individual sticker, unless I want to cut it off of my full sheet.)

1966 Dominican Republic

1968 American Oil left side

1971 Bazooka numbered complete panel

And since we don’t have a card yet on this thread, here is the complete sheet for the 1964 sports heroes.

I’ll cheat and do a 6 through 10.

6. 1967 Topps Punch Out Billy Williams
7. 1967 Topps Stand Up Ron Santo
8. 1947 Tip Top Andy Pafko
9. 1969 MLB Pin B&W Pin Ken Holtzman
10. 1971 Stadium Pin Jose Ortiz

ETA, actually I need 11.

11. 1971 Bazooka Numbered Randy Hundley

Well, my good man, it’s not on the master set because no one has attempted to add it. For that matter, I didn’t know that a fullly intact panel still existed. But now that I’ve seen one, I’ll have to add it to my list.

Along those lines, let me know if you ever decide to part with this one.

In that case, someone who is collecting the set has to request it to be added to the master set. I think the rule is that you are required to have a minimum of 5% of the set completed before you can ask to have a piece added. And you can only request to add pieces that are in your inventory.

It could also be a case where someone just doesn’t want to make the list any longer, because there’s already plenty on the list as it is. Or it could just be that whoever owns it doesn’t give a flying leap about the set registry.

Not sure if you've seen one of the mislabeled versions in question, but here's a pic from one of the threads I did many moons ago highlighting the problematic PSA Green Tints labeling miscues...

I’m going to go with what is “somewhat” realistic to my budget:

1. ‘68 Topps test disc (silver background)
2. ‘57 Topps rookie in an 8 or above
3. ‘64 Bazooka stamp panel #3
4. ‘68 AS sticker complete (w/Brooks)
5. Topps Brooks Robinson proofs (any playing era)

I can't believe no one has added the all but impossible, elusive Topps dice game cards from whatever year in the early 1960s works best. Some say you had to be a Topps employee to even have a chance for access to them.

Well, for some of us, we've already got one.

And for the rest, it could be a matter of whether they're worth the cash.

Have a weird story related to adding items to the set registry.

I'm putting together the PSA Mays Master Set and I picked up a 1968 Topps (Milton Bradley) PSA 1 from a recent Goldin auction. I made the request to add this variation to the Mays Master Set after adding the card to my inventory and PSA responded by deactivating the cert #??? I've already sent a question to PSA asking what's going on here, any insight on this?

I could be crazy here, but...

Does such a thing exist?

I wonder if whoever slabbed it just mislabeled it. Maybe it was just a plain jane 1968 topps, and they accidentally slabbed it as Milton Bradley?

So when you petitioned to have it added to the registry, they realized their error, and their brilliant solution was not to communicate, but instead to surreptitiously shut that cert down.

Looking at the listing, here: https://goldin.co/item/1968-topps-mi...JkSW5kZXgiOjN9

It does look like a plain old 1968 Topps. The back is orange, not yellow. And there's no white stripe on the front edge.

Charlie - if memory serves, on the transogram boxes, you're looking for the assembled boxes, and not the flat, graded ones? Obviously I have a lot of the flat, graded ones, on eBay, albeit at museum prices.

I think have a 68 Milton Bradley Topps set and as far as I know Mays is not in it. They have frequently been miss diagnosed. By the way there are no Cox and Brinkman variations to the regular set. They are just MB cards

Well that's the one I bought. I picked it up only because it was the Milton Bradley variation and the pop count was pretty low at the time. Of course I don't see the Willie on the pop report now so maybe they deactivated all the certs? Side by side with my regular 1968 Willie I could not tell the difference but I trusted in PSA. Oh well, slightly annoying to be sure but it wasn't a high dollar card.

Mays 100% doesn't exist in the MB set. Sounds like PSA to not communicate and just wipe the cert rather than admit they don't know what they are doing

Top of my list is certainly the 1952 Berk Ross Willie Mays, after that, it's a bit of a toss up:

1. 1952 Berk Ross Willie Mays
2. - 5.+ 1964 & 1968 Bazooka Willie Mays; any solo Venezuela Topps Mays; 1956 Topps Pins; Hires Root Beer, etc etc
