HELP! Leaky Autographed Football
My friend has an autographed Roger Staubach football that he has kept in a plastic case for about 17 years. The problem is that the ball will not hold air. Someone told him to try Stop Leak. I don't have a clue if that will work or not.
What is the best way to to fix a prized leaky football? Thanks in advance for any guidance. Last edited by Jerry G; 07-08-2018 at 10:01 PM. |

There's multiple YouTube videos on using products like Fix-a-Flat on deflated balls. The upside is that it should fix a problem in the ball no matter if it's a bad valve or a small puncture. The downside is it could be a bit messy if you are not careful. Hopefully the autograph is far enough from the valve that you are able to wipe away any excess without damaging the sig.

You can mail it to Wilson and they will fix it for a fee. Contact Wilson customer service.
