Default 1991 Topps Information/Images Needed

1) Any idea when in the season (late?) Topps switched from traditional wax wrappers?

2) Any case information or distribution areas of those 50 cent test packs which were identical to the wax packs but sealed on the sides and came in larger boxes.

3) Cello case information/images

4) 40 card jumbo cello case information/images

5) Did the Glossy All Stars come inserted in racks again? TCDB says they were only available via mail-in, but BBCP says they were also pack inserts.

6) Either version factory set case images/information.

7) Micro set case information or images

8) Traded Set wax case information/images

9) Traded set (illustrated version) case information/images

10) Tiffany basic and traded sets case images/information

11) Any instant win insert card images, and any anecdotes about cards found in packs.

12) Glow-backs and bold logo versions - all 792 cards or just certain printing sheets?

13) Printing sheets needed: A, D, E, F

14) Desert Shield - I found the image below on line - they didn't make factory sets did they? I assume not and that this is therefore a home-made item.

If you're looking for the regular Topps sheets I have all of them but I don't know if I have pictures of all of the sheets that I have.

Here's what I have

A - 1 sheet no glow, no bold logos
B - 1 sheet no glow no bold logos
C - 2 sheets 1 glow, 1 no glow
D - 3 sheets all glow
E - 2 sheets both glow
F - 2 sheets both glow

I haven't had them out in awhile but I'm pretty sure that some of the sheets where I have multiples of the same sheet there are different variations on the sheets.

If you have them, images of A, D, E and/or F would be great.

Here's the A sheet. I'll have to check and see if I have images of the others.

Default Vintage Topps Pulled in 1991

Pulled this in a pack last October. ...best box I ever opened of 1991 Topps. 2 Chipper rookies and an Eckersley rookie.

Of course, Topps had to place the gum right to the back of the Eck.

I'll try to get better pictures if you need them but here are the D and E sheets.

D sheet

E sheet

On the change over from wax to the 15 count heat sealed cello I don't think it was a direct change. I opened dozens of boxes of 91 Topps that included all of the different packaging and judging by the variations there was a period when they were being packed in both the 15 count wax and 15 count cello at the same time.

I think they started using the 15 count cello fairly early the only variation(s) that are only found in the wax packs are the scarce A*B* sheet codes.
