The color series are great from an artistic stand point but the b&w ones are awesome for showing what the uniforms of the era really looked like. Would love to see those photos in color just to see what the different color schemes on the uniforms were like.

While I am sure most of the folks that collect the B & W series are well aware of this, others may not be. The B & W photographs of each team were all taken at the same time, some in studios, but most in their respective ballparks. This is one set where displaying them by team(which is historically how they were kept) really brings out the surroundings of the ballpark of the day. There are dogs, people, chickens, etc in the photos.

Default How is he going to...

Missitt?

Steve F...what a great card!
The size of that glove, and the pose are simply fantastic. He is likely going to catch it!

I have one color T209 remaining and traded both of my B&W poses to focus on a set I wanted to complete. A full b&w set would be quite an accomplishment, especially if you started just recently. Super cards indeed!

Hey Steve

I forgot to post my McGeehan before, so here he is....now we just need Cooper to complete the display of the 16-card color set.

If you are referring to the B & W set, it's going to take a lot of "together's" to complete it. I would be very surprised if get all 222 cards on display here.

Anyhow, I will post some more of my better-looking B & W cards later this afternoon.

Best regards to you,

TED Z

Great catchers guys. I'm looking for a John Tiedemann T209 for my collection. Both for a type and for my John Tiedemann collection.

Being a native Virginian and a life-long resident of the Commonwealth, I collect only the Virginia League players. Anyone have any to sell or trade? I am especially looking for a Danville player.

That indeed is a great album.

Don't you wish there were similar types of albums depicting T205's and T206's ?

Mike Peich and I met in Willow Grove, PA (just like those good ole days). We had a lot of fun talking BB cards, and trading a bunch of T209 cards.

I acquired this tough T209 Cooper from Mike. And, for anyone that's interested, my last remaining extra T209 is this Armstrong (for sale or trade).
