Hi all--
I am sure there has already been a thread on this, and also I think I know the right answer. I think you need to just talk me down. I recently purchased a card slabbed in a PSA 5 holder. It REALLLY looks nicer than a PSA 5, like a PSA 7 or 8. An increase in grade to PSA 6 would be worth the cost of grading for sure, to PSA 5.5 would still be worth it too, though much closer. I am definitely not taking it out of the holder (too much of a risk of it going down, even as nice as it looks, and I would probably mess things up). So it would go in, in the holder. The question is: should I get it re-graded? I imagine the answer is, "it depends on the situation, but probably not and especially not in the holder." But would be interested in anyone's experience with getting cards re-graded in this way. I'd rather not post the card for a variety of reasons (it's not SO valuable) given all the scammer talk lately, but if anyone is curious, please PM me and happy to share. Thanks for any advice!
