Looks like fun!
One time hanging out with friends years ago I decided to make a sort of swamp boat with some little electric motors I had and a popsicle stick carved into a propeller. Convinced them to make one too, then we raced them in the bathtub. Only safe water around, Didn't figure the boats would survive long in the river a block away. Yes, Alcohol was involved. And yes, we are a bit weird.
