“HOF” and “legends” are not always synonymous, so here are my B/C-listers in a 9.

I do have several junk wax A/B-listers in a 10 en route, FWIW.

Default Mint HOF Cards

This is my only “Mint” graded vintage card. While I get that this was not per se a difficult set in higher grades, I’m very pleased with it. The centering is pretty much dead on - off maybe a click to the right - and in Nolan Ryan’s greatest season - this is a nice alternate card to his ‘73 Topps. I love the vintage Angels road uniform detail, and the fact that on the back - Nolan’s “hobby” is listed as hunting. Those kind of cool details absolutely make great vintage cards. Last sentence of the bio on the back: “There’s no doubt the move to Anaheim appears to have given Nolan the confidence and maturity that could make him one of the game’s all-time great pitchers.” Prophetic much?

I'm not much for slabs but I did have to have this one when I saw it at a National several years ago:

And then there's these:

I know Donnie Baseball isn't a HOFer and isn't pre-1980, but damnit, that is a beautiful card.

Gotta throw in a boxer, Money Mayweather's RC:

Some 9s with asterisks. The 61 is a very weak 9OC, but the 66 is really strong IMO:

Here are a few. Thought I would include some early GAI cards, sine there has been some discussion about them, lately.

Annnnnd game over. rats wins. Question on those topps 3Ds - is it the same material used to make the Kellogg cards? Reason I ask is because I have seen PSA 9 Kellogg cards that cracked presumably from too much light or not enough moisture. Is there any fear of that one of those Topps 3Ds? Also just curious where you stand rats60 on the possibility of reslabbing or crossing it over? Personally I wouldn’t let it out of my possession for any of that stuff and I’m guessing you feel the same.

One of the few pre-1980 PSA 10's that I have. Rarely see this one come up for sale.

The 1977 Topps design is awesome!! What a great set to look at. Of course, I just wish the photog would've pulled back a bit when taking Johnny's picture.
