There is a story that when Oh became a star in the early 60s he started getting thousands of fan letters and just didn’t have the time to read them so mostly ignored them. Later though he was told about a kid at a special needs school who had sent him a letter and was saddened by the lack of a reply, after which he started (presumably with the help of a secretary) sending replies.
He is an executive with the Softbank Hawks now and fan mail can be sent there, but from comments here and there it seems he no longer replies.
