18,000 rookie cards for one player
In 1995, I stopped collecting because it became a pain in the ass to collect every card of my favorite player.
Now, those days seem so simple. This guy does a great job of quantifying the absurd increase in cards and variations over the last 30 years -- including Paul Skenes, who had 18,000 DIFFERENT CARDS last year.
