Any soccer historians here?
** Any soccer historians here? Looking for info on semi pro soccer on Randall Island (NY) in early to mid 60’s **
I hope the admins don’t mind an oddball request for leads - a friend is trying to find out any possible information regarding a high level soccer league (may have been a player feeder program to teams overseas, including Czech teams) Apparently this may have been sometime between 1963 and 1966. I know next to nothing about soccer but I am guessing we have some fans/collectors here who may have some soccer history buzzing in their worlds as well as baseball! Could be a super long shot - but I appreciate any leads anyone may have that I can pass along to my friend. Thx all Jeff
