Was this stupid of me?
Posted By: Chad
I don't normally ask these kind of questions, but I'm curious about this card. I got it for 40 bucks and, when I get something for less than I think it's worth, I get suspicious. Especially since, while I do have about 30 T-206's, it's not a set I feel I have any real expertise on. Just fake expertise, I guess, which might be why I thought it'd go for more than 40 bucks. Sometimes I just can't help myself when it comes to pressing that "confirm bid" button, especially when it's slow and boring at work. |

The Boston version of Kleinow Catching is easier than people think and the N.Y. version is tougher than people think. But at $40 you still got a good deal. IMHO. |

I'm always looking for great deals but, at the end of the day, I'm satisfied as long as I got a fair deal. I always justify my purchases with the idea that I can flip the cards for more than I paid, but, really, I know I never will. |

I have been dabbling in T206's for about 25 years and it is always listed as a Rare card in price guides and the Monster the Kleinow Boston variation. I have read from time to time that the New York variation might actually be rarer. Can anybody clarify this and if so why has the Boston variation been always thought of as a rare card and not the New York one. |

I always thought it was odd that the Boston version was tough considering all the potential back variations that were possible and that it was in both the 35 and 460 series (might be wrong there). |
