How do you personally rate the imperfections (I know I know Frank, they're all just beauty spots |

For me I am bothered most by by a rub or missing text, then pinhole and a chunk of the card gone. The others not so much. Those are the big three for me |

it is all about where the imperfection is - and not the imperfection itself. |

I would rearrange some of those a little bit... |

The caveat, of course, being that if it's a really scarce or expensive card that I really want, and it presents well, I'll take almost anything. That being said, I try and avoid the following at all costs, in order: |

I think the top three from your list are: |

Registration is a terrific addition to the list, and would rate extremely high for myself too - probably above all else......which explains why I've owned approx. eight different 58' Jim Brown rookies, and never been happy enough to keep one! I guess it will have to be at a show that I finally settle on one, or in person at an auction house - as they never arrive with any where near the clarity of the scan/pic. used to sell them. |

For those of you who have seen my cards, you'll know that condition doesn't really matter lol. I wouldn't really want a skinned card though. |

100/0 off center (ss or tb) is what bothers me most next to a chunk of card missing. |

I cannot say which flaw is the worst without seeing the card. |

depending on the rarity of the card I will take what I can get....other than that I don't like creases in the face or paper loss on the front....or the back if it affects lettering...Chunks out of cards are a no-no also....unless it's one I need. I think this card pretty much nails all 10 problems...though, after I doctor it I am hoping for a PSA8.....Maybe I can fill in the missing chunk with a Darby Chocolate Actress card...and not mention it.....although, I might have to take it back from myself... |

I like pin holes in a card with no other defects. I get the card cheaper and it still looks good. For me it's all about the overall appearance rather than technical grade. |
