SOLD: 1924 Kansas City Monarchs "Poster" w/Jose Mendez & Bullet Joe Rogan (HOF)
11x17” Pennant flying over stadium reads “Worlds Colored Champions.” Text at right in grandstands reads “First Colored World Series Opening Game In Philadelphia October 3, 1924/Monarchs Vs. Philadelphia/Attendance 18, 500.” Great image of team and game in progress. Red slightly faded. Vertical crease. Lt. edge wear. Faint moisture mark lower right. Fine overall. Rare. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
