Al's nice thread on the Topps banquet cards got me thinking about "things you rarely see" I thought I would show this complete 1959 Oklahoma Today magazine with the baseball cards on it. You can find singles most of the time on Ebay, but the entire magazine is elusive. I bought this on Ebay in the early 2000s.

Great to see pre- and post-war players on the same sheet. That Alvin Dark follow-through swing is terrific, and sooo 50s. Thanks.
(Oh yeah, I wouldn't mind kayaking on that lake on the cover, either). |

Cardinalcollector and I both collect St. Louis Cardinals exclusively. His collection includes items such as this while I am satisfied with single cards of the Cardinals.
Items such as this magazine make me rethink my approach as it is a truly magnificent piece. |
