Somehow I continue to find vintage cards that I cannot determine whether they are reprints or the real deal. I am going to an estate sale next weekend to hopefully find some good deals on some cards and this Ruth is featured. I have no idea to the authenticity of this card or how to determine if it is a reprint. Does anyone know what to look for on the 33 Goudey cards. I know this picture is not the best, but it is the only one in the flyer. I wish I could see the back. Any help would be appreciated. Yes, I posted a couple weeks ago about a Ruth reprint! I think I'm going to stick to 50's and 60's baseball cards!

just looking at the surface it appears that someone attempted to rub the surface to make it look more authentic....

No doubt about it . . . clumsy attempt to "age" a reprint.
