Anyone ever buy cards using blujay and google wallet??

inspired by some of the recent box breaks I have witnessed lately, I took the plunge and bought some unopened modern wax. The seller was on blujay and had me pay using google wallet. I have never paid that method before, and now the seller looks like his store has shut down. Has anyone had good luck/bad luck using that sort of payment? Any experiences would be helpful.....

I've used google wallet to buy other stuff (not cards or sport related) and it was fine, seemed totally legit. Got invoice, payment conf., and tracking.
