Gray backs were a short run or rare cards that started at card 131 and ran to card 190.

In a recent auction a near set of the "Canadian" gray backs ( minus one) sold for $10,000. Individually they have been selling for as much or more than similar condition high number cards in the set. The same phenomena exists in the gray back cards cards 1-50 in the 54 set
