Bat pickup...a little help identifying?
Hey all,
My wife was in an antique shop in SoCal, and I had her grab this bat since it was there, and cheap. Labeling of course tells me it's 1965-72...but haven't had any luck determining which Rodriguez this would have belonged to. Assuming the misspelling is of course an error. Aurelio of course was an Angel during this time period but it doesn't show the pine tar use that most of his bats from that period do. Not that being on a California team is in any way an indicator, but maybe seems a little more likely fit...I dunno. I suppose there's Roberto Rodriguez...which would be nice for me, he's an Oakland A. I know matching this up to anything is a long shot but figured I'd ask...maybe there's something you all will see that I'm not. Could even be just a store model. Bat does show significant use and wear, it's cracked. Any info or educated guesses are a help...thanks! Last edited by JMEnglish27; 05-11-2024 at 08:23 PM. |
