1968 Topps Bench "tne" variation
How often do these pop up? Is there any extra value to them? Not exactly the most exciting variation, but still it is a HOF RC.

I'm not an expert, but this is a topic that interests me.
The Bench rookie I own has the correct "the" spelling. That said, based on the eBay listings I've looked at, as well as auctions, the "tne" version of the card seems equally available. Hope that might help! |

This was discussed in another thread awhile back. Not sure if it was the never ending variations thread. Neither version is hard to find so I doubt there is much of a premium on the misprint. ( my guess is it was a temporary misprint rather than a corrected error, but who could know for sure )
Not sure if PSA recognizes it and too lazy to look, but I think Bob should get both anyway |
