Even Net 54 isn't immune from stalkers and phishers

How did she get your email address? Only registered members can PM or send email through the system.
Re-reading her email, I think she pulled your email off of the old forum, where everyone's email was public. On the new forum she would have to be approved by Leon in order to be able to email you, and even then, the email would come through the Net54baseball email system, not from her email account directly. Bob, there are fraudsters all over Net 54, why can't there be stalkers and phishers too?

I got the email as well. She's almost certainly pulling off the old forum. New one is much more secure and makes this sort of thing virtually impossible.

One of two thoughts:
1) either it is a real woman who has the mental picture of an advanced baseball card collector (54 guys) who is rich, middle aged or older, lonely and has no spouse or girlfriends because they spend all their time collecting cardboard  ; or2) this is some cretin guy who is trying to get info or God knows what from us  .
