Default Showing off a few 1954 Dan Dees (They are Dandy!)

I got these over the weekend locally. I have a total of 16 with 12 of them already on the way to PSA. I have never seen Dan Dees this nice. The backs are clean, as well. For those that don't know, these are VERY TOUGH to get in high grade.

These are a sampling.

No Mantle. Wouldn't that be nice to have Mantle like that!

I paid $500 for a small lot of things. About $400 of it was for 16 Dan Dees with most NM or better. There was one VG-EX (technically, but looks NM), another EX (technically, but looks NM).

The seller was strictly going by SCD book value and took a percentage. I don't think he knew much about them at all. If he did, he would have gotten them graded. The more I research these cards the more amazed and excited I get about this find. I took a little risk because I didn't know all that much about them either. I just knew that they were condition rarities, but I didn't know how rare or how much they would bring in high grade.

Judging by those pictures, I think you're going to do very well.

More than 20 years ago I put together a set of Dan-Dees. As is usually the case with collecting, it was more about the journey than the destination. The story: http://www.48tribe.com/dandeepotatochipsset.htm
