T206: post your perfect cards
There had to be some quality control in this set - let's see your examples of cards that turned out the way the 'creators' intended.
I think this example hit the specs pretty well:

Although, this Cobb is just an SGC 40, I think it's the highest graded (SGC or PSA) AMERICAN BEAUTY 460 Cobb. Let's see if some one here will prove me wrong on this claim ?
I would be remiss....if I did not include my Chase and Johnson, too. Actual graded cards are better than my fuzzy scans. TED Z Last edited by tedzan; 03-03-2013 at 04:16 PM. |

Cool thread. i think these hit the mark pretty well, front & back...(centering, registration, boldness, etc). i have found that typically Uzits & Tolstois (and even EPDGs) can look rather light (not printed boldly). i looked far & long for these examples.

Jim I agree, that Nap followed closely by the WaJo portrait have always been my favorites in the T206 set.

Great cards everyone. Jim, that Johnson portrait is my favorite and yours is as good as it gets. These aren't perfect, but as close as I'll get.

Hi Ted,
SGC pop reports are better than PSA on backs , but none are perfect... I know of a PSA 4 Cobb AB and a couple of 3's.... Nice card... Be well Brian |
