Really interesting question. I guess it depends on how you define things.
I don't think issues like R312 are "cards" so so me personally, I wouldn't include them. Also, Zeenut is a minor league card, so I personally wouldn't include that either. Then it gets a little tougher to decide. Should foreign issues count? Is Canada "foreign"? I'm not sure how I would answer that. If you're ok with a "foreign" card, then I think 1936WWG is the rookie. If not, then 38 Goudey. But, the 38 Goudy is such a stupid looking card, I'd never buy one. If I wanted a DiMaggio, what I'd personally get is one of the Play Ball issues. |
