OT, Opinions needed
So, I recently found some sketches from my grandfather who passed away in 1998. These sketches are from 1955 or so.
There is one that caught my eye and I am looking to get a tattoo of it and possibly make a logo out of it for shirts and things like that. But I want to make sure the image is not racist or can be deemed racist before I start. I had the image cleaned up from the drawing so i could better use it. Let me know what you think: |

Heck, I'll walk blindfolded into this mine field. Why not?
If your logo was just empty space, some 'woke' idiot would call you a racist due to the emptiness being white, and not reflective of other races. You can't win, so do what you think is right. My girlfriend proudly calls herself a 'halfer' - her mother is 100% Korean. She said, "What's the problem? Because the guy looks angry?" I said no, what race do you think the guy is, and she said, "Oh, I guess he could be a fat black guy, like in 'Pulp Fiction,' maybe a white guy or an Asian...but I guess, probably Asian????" She was unsure. I assume that's what you're worried about, looking like an Asian stereotype?? If you're overly concerned, then fine tune the pic a bit to eliminate anything you fear will be problematic. By doing that, there's an added benefit. Now it would be an illustration drawn by both your grandfather AND you together, which might make the end result more poignant.

Anything can be considered racist by morons. I tend to avoid caring what they think. Also when did anyone ever get a tattoo and worry if it offended anyone? If you like it get it, if not don't.

LOL. Why would you ask for opinions about your tattoos on a baseball card forum? Hopefully you have family and friends who can give you better counsel. God bless you if you don't.

The question was not about a tattoo.. that is going to happen. The question was about using the image as a logo.

To answer your question, and many on the board would probably find me to be one of those overly sensitive woke morons, I don’t see an issue. It could be a Chinese man. It could be an old Italian man. It could be Don Rickles.
