Help with catcher's mask
Hello, experts, I'm wondering if anyone can recognize this style of catcher's mask. It was used during WWII, but has no manufacturer's markings. I'd love to know if it's a common style or who made it, but I know nothing about these.

It looks like a softball mask, not baseball.

Agreed. It would be a very funny baseball mask - really nasty practical joke. A ball could hit you right in the nose !
