This ought to be a good pick up thread with so many members at the national. I can't wait to see what shows up.

Two new miscuts
Hitting the National tomorrow, and hoping to add some forties. In the interim, able to get a couple of nice miscuts from Jamie and Pete.

Teddy Ballgame
With a bit better centering this would merit a PSA 7+.......has NM/M sharp corners, and excellent eye appeal. Nevertheless, a nice upgrade for my '41 Play Ball set. Now all I need is a comparable Joe D. to complete the set..............

No national for me with work unfortunately. So I picked up a rare Ruth on ebay that I'm really excited for and crossed another Cracker Jack Hofer off the checklist....

Some of my new pickups have been in my collection for at least 10-15 years but I've slabbed them just now...some cool additions that are truly new too.
Check 'em out...

Been wanting one of these for a while...Didn't win the ebay auction the other day, but emailed another seller an offer on one of his BIN's. Got it for around the same price as the auction. Happy as hell with this one.

Before I won this Waddell (Pitching) - Sovereign, my Monster Number was 108. I am not sure WHAT it is now. 108 and 2/3? I believe it to be real, before I actually get see it in person, based on the vendors word and reputation. Maybe one of you would be so kind as to crack a slab (so we are sure it is real) and mangle a Waddell, in the same fashion so we can do some side by side comparisons

Leon...I just had to
I simply couldn't resist. What I found incredible was not the condition as such, although the more I look at it, the cooler it gets. I have to assume that the mangle occurred early on. A modern day collector would never allow that to happen to Rube. What fascinates me is that after the mangle, that somebody decided to still keep it. I cannot imagine what actually caused the mangling though.
