Well, good luck is still following me on the Old Judges, This time, Cabinets, 32 of them.
These came from Fargo North Dakota, after a full day of flying yesterday, Wednesday, I have them all scanned and you can look at them here:

Congrats Dave !

Fantastic collection. The mounts and team changes suggest they may all date to 1889. If only the Hanlon, Conway, Brouthers, Richardson, & Ganzel were one year earlier you'd have some nice Detroit cabinets. Beyond the team changes, the lack of a colored mount and the occassional Dog's Head also suggest 1889.

Very nice indeed.

And about the Welsh Police Gazette, it's based off an 1886 Joseph Wood photo. Same photo was used to make his N167 card. Many of the Police Gazette cards are based on photos that date to 1886 & 1887. I believe Police Gazette cabinets were issued over several year period, but that's a good discussion for another thread.

Oh my goodness.

Beautiful cards... When you get a chance, though, can you hunt down another AWH Caramel find? I want to saturate the market and drive those prices down

Joe - good observation. The N167, Four Base Hits, Kalamazoo Bats and G&B Gum issues all used the 1886 Joseph Wood Cabinet images.

And don't forget the Yum Yums. They have many of the 1886 photos from the Giants & Mets (all Joseph Wood photos). In the case of the Mets they use the Spotted Tie portraits but list the new team (Mets disbanded after 1887).
