Uncatalogued 1940s Indians Postcards

Have any of you seen these before? I can't find them in the Standard Catalog. Based on the players, it looks like they are from 1948-50. Also, notice that there are two different backs. Only the Gordon has the back shown at the bottom. Could they be from two different years?

I haven't seen those before, that I remember. I do have a question though. Do they feel like photo stock or regular cardboard stock? The reason I ask is that I have seen some photo's, given out at parks as premiums, be made into a postcard with a postcard "stamp" on the back. If that were the case then they would be a generic postcard, I guess.

They're definitely postcard stock of the type you'd find with most "real photo postcards". I know the Indians issued some real photo postcards over the years. But I've never seen any with the block lettering on the front, and I've never seen a Greenberg. Does Dan Even monitor this board? He might be the right guy to ask.

By the way, for what it's worth, the cards all have a very glossy surface.

We have about 16 Dans on this board so not sure which one you are speaking of? Dan Mckee is participating on the pre-war side right now....Interesting that they are on cardboard stock but have a glossy front.

The 'Kodak' stamp box was introduced in 1950, while the 'EKC' stamp box was from 1940-50. So they could be from different years. They are real photo postcards as Kodak/EKC (Eastman Kodak Co) only made products, including postcard stock, for photographs.

Leon, the "E" in "Even" was intentionally capitalized. There's a postcard specialist named "Dan Even".
