|  Rod Carew Sports Illustrated question 
			
			Does anybody know what this might be from?    I haven't been able to find any information about this or anything like it. It is 8 by 10. |

			Not certain, but SI used to host hospitality suites at conventions. I know for sure they did them for the national association of secondary school principals during the mid 70's. At that time they had three guests each night, and supplied a panel of printed photos with the SI logo at the top.  Maybe later they did individual photos or cut back to one guest once the appearance fees got higher? I attended only one, in 76. I met Brooks Robinson and a couple football players I don't recall. Robinson was fantastic, asked if I wasn't a bit young to be at the hospitality suite (I was 13) and talked baseball for a bit. When one guy got pushy about the line not moving he told the guy "I'm talking to the kid about baseball- you'll just have to wait" Steve B |
