Seller list this card way under value but before I or anyone could buy it a ebay member tips them off as to how much there card might be worth. Read the questions on the bottom, way to go Dave : (

A BCCG 9 sold for $800 and 10's sell for 2x. So that's a $1,500+ card no matter what the cross over is.

I think you might be confusing BGS with BCCG. Two different grading scales, two different markets, same company.

Nope: http://cgi.ebay.com/OPC-79-WAYNE-GRE...#ht_500wt_1156

Jordan 9's go for 600-700 and 10's 1,000-1,200 so a Gretzky 10 would be $1,500+

You are VERY confused about the difference in grading standards and about BCCG!

That service is not meant for high end cards although some are in those holders. It's strictly a business proposition and one that some Beckett employees probably don't care for, but have to live with. It's business...... From their website-

Beckett Collector’s Club Grading Is Here!
Now, collectors can build a quality graded-card collection that is both attractive and affordable! Beckett, the leader in third-party sports card grading, is excited to bring you Beckett Collector’s Club Grading (BCCG), a new sports card grading service appealing to all sports fans and collectors. Available at a retail store near you, BCCG offers affordability in a top-quality graded-card product!

Another Level of Sports Card Grading with Exceptional Beckett Quality
BCCG features a modified numerical grading scale, with each level representing a range of standard conditions (Mint or better, Near mint or better, Excellent or better, etc.). So, at a glance, the condition of the card is unmistakable.

We understand the importance of protecting your cards. Every BCCG-graded card is sealed and protected in a superior clear plastic holder whose design is based on the top-quality Beckett Grading Services (BGS) holder. Each holder features a white BCCG label with assigned grade, card serial number and precise card description obtained directly from Beckett’s all-inclusive online database of sports cards. A fast and easy BCCG Card Lookup is available for card verification at the No. 1 online source for card collecting products, services and information – www.beckett.com.

A Super Alternative to Other Grading Services
Though BCCG-graded cards are completely separate and vastly different from the premium BGS- or BVG-graded cards, the same consummate care in handling is followed and consistent industry-leading quality of grading is applied to each and every card. As a result, BCCG-graded cards provide an eye-catching secondary market alternative to other graded card products, reaching a wider audience of fans and collectors.
