| Jimmie Foxx Postcards...what exactly are these?

Guys.........I have these two nearly identical Jimmie Foxx postcards from RDM Studio in Chicago. While I can obviously tell they're postcards from this studio, are they from a specific set? I'm guessing other players were printed. I find these two postcards interesting because the images are just slightly different in relation to the point of his swing. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. Matt |

I've not seen them before either, but they are very cool. Where did you happen to find them?

Very nice. They sure look like Burke photos.

A quick google search shows that "RDM Studio" was George Burke's studio...I guess I should have known that, but I've not seen that stamp before.

| I found these at....

I picked these up about 5 years ago at an estate auction in mid-Michigan. There were not any other postcards offered in that sale. I have always wondered how they were distributed, their history, why the same player would have a slightly different image, if there were 'others', etc. Thanks for the initial responses. Matt |
