Lost card
Did anyone recently make a purchase from California Sports Cards that is also from Wilmington, Illinois. If so you may have got one of my cards in the mail today, a 1933 Goudey Jimmie Foxx. It appears that they sent it to the wrong address or the post office screwed me. I messaged the dealer and they claim they shipped it to my address and even read me back my address; however, the tracking number says it touched down in Wilmington, IL today and I live in Romeoville. I messaged them again but got no response this time, so I am taking a shot in the dark, but if you are on Net54 and have my card please message me. I just am praying the card got into good hands that will return it, or the dealer gave me the wrong tracking number. Hopefully they will get back to me but the problem is they are closed Monday and Tuesday, needless to say I will be loosing sleep.

Don't loose hope. I had a card lost and it finally showed up at my house with no explanation 81 days after the seller sent it out. I still have another card lost and waiting to see if that one shows up one day. Both had tracking numbers and the post office was not too helpful and basically gave me the same info that I already had.

Zach,
I wouldn't lose any sleep yet. This has happened to me several times on the sending side. Cards would be sent to one address but the tracking said it was delivered to another State. Eventually, it would make it to the correct address. There was one time in which the card visited 3 other States before it made it to it's final destination. Good luck! |

How close is Romeoville to Wilmington? Maybe it is still in route.
I have known Matt at California Sportscards for more than 20 years. You have nothing to worry about from his side. I am sure will do whatever he can to help you. JimB Last edited by E93; 08-12-2012 at 10:24 AM. |

Wilmington is actually not far at all, the only problem is, is that it says it was fully delivered in Wilmington. This could be a post office error, if I knew the address it went to I would pick it up Wilmington is in the same county as me.

Just an idea but you might want to see if there is a house with the same number and street name in Wilmington as you live on in Romeoville. if so, see if you can look up their phone number online to give them a call.
