It figures! Even discussions about dreams lead to t206's

I think you know when you're addicted when you have stacks of auction books in your bathroom.

I'll go a little further...

When you have at least one auction catalog in each room of your house; living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen/dining room, daughters bedroom (she likes playing with the older ones that I don't have an interest in keeping). When the catalogs are current they rotate around my house including the back patio.

...when, as a seller, you become so enamored with your inventory that you just let it pile up and instead of selling, get cheaper in other areas of life.

I know I am addicted because for the past 20+ years, the best/fastest way for me to fall asleep at night has been to think about vintage bb cards and remove all other thoughts from my mind! Interestingly, I don't recall ever having a dream about cards.

When you have a drain tube sticking out of your stomach, a catheter, and are connected to an IV bag and still find yourself reading Net54 at 3:00 AM. I am truly pathetic

You sell some baseball cards to make a bigger purchase (house, college, car, etc...), and then end up using a bunch of the money to buy more baseball cards.

You KNOW you must be addicted when you have spent a few minutes EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last 10 yrs trying to figure out a way to make money off the 5 Monster boxes of 1988 Donruss you have in the backroom & can't come up w/ anything, so you gave it one more day & think again tomorrow!

You know you’re an addict when….

You have 4 of the same $50-100 commons and you wrestle with the thought of letting one go.

Cheers,

John

P.S. Leon was it a spicy dream? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Default Cards on my mind....daily

I've had dreams about cards in general, but never about a specific card (I don't think). I do sometimes find myself in meetings at work, daydreaming about whether or not I should pull the trigger on a card I've had my eye on on eBay or in an auction.

I've wondered before - when was the last time I went an entire day without thinking about cards in some form or fashion? I truly have no idea, but I'm sure it's been years.
