In my opinion, it's a not-so-special-looking card from a decidedly "meh" set. Yet I can't conceive of parting with my '54 Bowman Ted Williams because of its significance as an important card in the hobby.
What card/s are you holding onto despite your lack of passion for them? |

1957 Mickey Mantle. I have thought about selling it several times, but I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger.

1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle in PSA 1. It only has that grade because of an ink stamp on the back.
Never got the heart to sell it. |

I feel the same way. Not a particularly attractive card. If I did not "need" it for my set, I think I would have parted with it a long time ago.

"If you like your Williams card, you can keep your Williams card. Period!"

I don't have the '54 Bowman set. Just the Williams and Furillo (one of the cards, along with Schoendienst and Doby) that I actually really like.

OK Al, I'll bite.
What are the Berry and Palmer cards? |

the 84 Palmer was a special promo card made for a movie Sluggers Wife. Nice and rare card!

Always wanted one of these and then wondered why. Thought about the full run of 6 but doubt that will happen. Meantime they are just sitting in the SD box
This one I kept just because it's so hard to find, especially uncancelled. Not overly fond of the set and sold it off, but kept this just in case. ![]()

Certainly better card than movie!

My 1977 Topps Unissued Proof of Al Fitzmorris in the Royals uniform variation. Not the most exciting...like the Reggie Jackson Orioles variation but it's a keeper.
