Wonderful Piece that is double matted and framed professionally in a 11x14 frame...
the piece consists of a photo of Ersking pitiching during the game that he set the world series record with 14 ks in a game (wonderful way to cap off the best season of his career-20 wins). on the left side ther is a game 3 Ebbets field stub, and on the right side there is a fantastic erskines signed 3x5 that reads as follows:

Autograph Seaker: "You struck out 14 batter in Game 3 of the 1953 world series-which strikeout was the hardest & why?"
Erskine: "The fourteenth was Johnny Mize, one of the best hitters in basebal-also he had hurt me in other games"

I appreciate the compliments guys! Erskine was a solid pitcher in the mound (122-78) with 53 being his best season. It does seem that he made
10 times the impact off the field than he did on...truly a class fella
