As a few may know, I've only be an active pre-war collector since the beginning of the year. Most of my collecting time has been on Old Judge cards, as you may have noticed from the monthly Pick Up threads. I recently partnered with a Net54 member on a larger REA lot of pre-war type cards. My main purpose for going after the lot was the E102 Matty, E90-1 Cobb, and a T207 Johnson.
The cards arrived and I started to do a once over. I knew from the beginning the T207 Johnson was a miscut, but I didn't think about the way it which it was miscut. The factory number is on the top. If this were a T206 I know right then it carries a premium, but since this is a T207 I have very little threads or details on rarity, value, or T207 miscut collectors to do my due diligence. I sent the card to PSA and the card came back a 4 MC (very happy!! ).What is the consensus on this card? Is there a market for it? Are there premiums placed on T207s? Steven

I have a factory top miscut t207. I don't think I paid a premium even though it was advertised as being a miscut through an auction house. So as stated above I don't think they carry a huge premium, but if you were to get two people that like prewar errors/miscuts without caring which set you may get a bit of one. I fall into this category, but have been staying away from purchasing recently.

When they do start going for more, let me know, I have a Hoff/Broadleaf ready to ship!

I don't think there is much of a premium on T207 miscuts unless they are really, really off. I wouldn't put a premium on your T207 Johnson but it's neat. I only have one error T207 and it's the Bressy that makes you think you are having double vision
....I didn't pay a premium and the seller (I think it was Rob A) didn't even notice the double print on the front..

When there is high demand for T207's. However, I don't see that in the foreseeable future.
