| 1880s Cabinet....Can you say, "TMI, too much info in the description?"

Nice photo but detailing the obvious wasn't really that necessary, was it? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1886-Basebal...3D301956157069 .

If you miss it in the description at least they have a nice close up to look at. |

The extremely rare and displeasing "well-endowed" variation Because using the phrase trouser snake is likely inappropriate

Surprisingly the seller did not try to invoke "The Battle of The Bulge" to describe the bidding war that is likely to transpire as the auction ends.

I don't think the current crop of cabinets he's got are good. The photos look too big for the mounts, and the city is a big mismatch on the veterinary ambulance. They've sold the steam tractor one before on a different mount, but they also had a real photo postcard with the same image that looked fine as well as a couple other views from the same farm. The lady blacksmith cabinet is online, from a different photographer. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/192599321534656035/ Not mine. Oddly, those are the only things that look iffy in all their listings, at least in fields I know. (Can't say about the decoys) Steve B |
