Robert Edward Auctions and Goldin Winners
Any big wins from these two auctions over the weekend? I was very suprised at the affordability of some Ruth signed items from REA.
Congrats to who ever got the '27 Yankee's Ball and 1923 Ruth Signed ball. Those were some cheap prices! What is everyone else's thoughts?

Super strong prices realized on the rarer items. Seems to be the trend these days, with the more common memorabilia performing just average.
I'll speak to the area I know best... Pennants. Crazy high prices on the rare/early ones last night. I thought it was a strong auction overall. There were a few more unsold lots than usual, but the premium stuff really took off. Mark - thanks for capturing all the pennant action in one place.
And big congrats on getting that statue. I only noticed it last night during bidding and I really liked it. Good eye - as usual. Congrats again.

I got skunked on a Pirates signed team ball with Clemente on the sweet spot. This was the first time I ever bid with REA. Unfortunately I did my max bid incorrectly and didn't realize it until I was outbid and too late. Ball sold for exactly what my max bid would have been if I knew what I was doing or paid better attention. Oh well. Most of the fun is the hunt. Onto the next auction!

FANTASTIC figural addition at a GREAT price Mark.
 The pennant market is clearly alive and well and memorabilia in general is strengthening IMO.
