Always happy to get an autograph of Ed White, the first American to do a space EVA.

This may or may not have been initialed by Branch Rickey, but I don't much care either way. It is the letter sent by the Pirates to the National League informing them of the assignment of the contract of Roberto Clemente to the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Montreal Royals. It was sent on the very same day as the Rule 5 draft, November 22, 1954.

CC Williams is beyond rare. He died within a year of this photo. NASA slated him to walk on the moon with Charles Conrad on Apollo 12. This photo is proof of how determined NASA was to send Williams to the moon. He was killed in a plane crash and replaced by Alan Bean armstrong photo signed to Gnelle.jpg anders and conrad.jpg borman and williams.jpg |
