| SOT and suggestion for summer reading / Nonsports collectors please help

Do any cards exist of Eko and Iko, George and Willie Muse who were circus attractions performing under a number of names such as the Ambassadors from Mars and the Sheepheaded Cannibals. The are the subject of and interesting book, Truevine by Beth Macy, which I would recommend as a summer read. The two albino African American boys were kidnapped and it is the story of the family trying to get them back and race relations in general. Beth is a talented writer (Factory man) and I have found this to be pretty through provoking. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28962954-truevine I know the brothers had several souvenir pictures distributed, but they preformed globally and I was curios if they ever appeared on a tobacco or gum card. Mods, feel free to move this if you wish, but I figured I could get more eyeballs on it posting here. |
