It does not exhibit any of the natural characteristics of Gehrig's signature. More specifically, I believe it to be one of the more common Gehrig forgery styles out there. Like this one

It looks bad to me. You can see unnatural starts and stops in the transitions between letters, along with wobbles in the lines.
