| 1962 Post Mantle #5 hand cut (variation or counterfeit?) Notice the no border around the stat boxes. Backs are brown like this: I'm guessing these are Etsy specials, but wanted to throw it over here. COMC is starting to get some submitted and I wanted to make sure they need to remove them for being fakes.

Figured it out already. It's a Magazine cut out labeled wrong by PSA. The COMC ones must be rebacked since they don't have any logos.

Nice sleuthing. Did you break it out of the holder to come to that determination? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

No, the front and back are two different cards. It's just a case of PSA labeling the flip wrong. I checked all the other "hand cut from box" cards and about 6 were really the Post cereal versions. There were three like this submitted to COMC and I didn't want to see anyone get taken thinking they were the box variation rather than the magazine insert. Rich Klein removed the COMC listings so that people didn't buy them.

| Mantle/Maris

The Mantle and Maris cards that were inserted into Life magazine have no lines in the stats box.
