Fs- unique 1936 Yankee Stadium press photo
Very interesting photo dated 11/30/36
View is what a prospective inmate would see from their cell at the newly constructed Bronx county jail... The jail went operational in 1937 and maintained as a correctional facility through 2000... the facility was demolished in the early 2000's... I just can't help but think of how much regret and remorse must have been going through the minds of inmates as they watched and listened to the excitement of a yankees gameday... Truly unique photo... $125 pp shipped
