| Christy Mathewson RPPC as a child?

I have seen many is this type of Joe Jackson threads asking if it is him. To me this RPPC looks like a perfect ringer for Christy Mathewson. Tha stance and the grip are identical. I wanted to come on here to get everyones opinion before I listed it for sale at the low price of $500,000.00 with a best offer option. Yes I know the RPPC actually dates from the 1904-1918 era but facts have not stopped similar inquiries before. Thanks in advance for any help. |

That is definitely not him. The kid is holding his glove too close to his leg...Matty would never do that. Christy was too much of a gentleman to resort to this sort of low brow tactic, and this mere stub of a boy is clearly no gentleman in the making. Yes they do. All you have to do is squint a lot and completely close your good eye. Quote:
To be honest I think you all are just jealous I found this rare item worth a LOT of money. I believe the next step is to call everyone that disagrees with me names and list it on eBay. I will probably skip both of those. Have a great day everyone and hopefully you got a smile or laugh from this. |
