For Sale: 1940 Brooklyn Dodgers PSA 3 Pee Wee Reese. His RC is typically thought of as the 1941 Double Play and 1941 Play Ball. This image pre-dates those cards.
$595 Delivered. Will consider trades for pre 1960. |

Slightly off topic … but pee wee Reese was one of the nicest HOfers that I’ve ever had the chance to meet personally. My dad and I went to a charity golf outing on Long Island roughly 35 years ago. I was just in high school at the time but certainly knew who Reese was. There was another HOFer at the event - who was not nearly as nice and who shall remain nameless (unless you pm me lol).
Harold (Pee Wee) chatted with dad and I for at least 20 mins and signed more than a reasonable amount of items cheerfully and without charge as he recounted stories of the Dodgers with us. Congrats on the pickup! Best wishes Scott |
