Thanks to everyone who reached out via PM requesting higher-resolution scans. I've now updated them from 300 dpi to 1200 dpi for better clarity. If you're interested, just click the image above to view it in full resolution.

Just wanted to share a quick update on the card I had listed. I was recently contacted by a respected board member who raised a concern about the card’s authenticity—specifically noting that the reverse side looked “a bit faded.” Out of respect for that feedback and to keep everything transparent, I’ve decided to pull the card for now. My sincere apologies to those I was currently in talks with.

To make sure everything checks out, I’ll be sending the card back to SGC for a re-review and likely also submitting it to CGC, with a request for Andy Broome to take a personal look. While I’m fully confident the card is authentic and unaltered, I’m more than happy to take these extra steps to confirm its integrity.

For context, I originally purchased the card from a well-known dealer based in Tennessee—someone I’ve worked with before and who regularly sets up at The National. He mentioned that it came from an original collection that included several Croft’s Candy cards, this one among them.

Thanks,
Turner Engle
