Default Shot in the dark - help with autograph

This autograph is on a 1954 Chicago Cubs autographed ball. I have gone through the roster, the coaching staff and the 54 Yearbook looking at the autographs in there - all to no avail. It may not even be a Cubs person. Looks like maybe j---f may..,y. If anyone would have any ideas, I would appreciate it. As I said - a shot in the dark but the people on here are the best so if it is a valid Cubs person someone here could tell me.

Thanks,

Jim

That was my first thought but he signed on another panel. I guess he could have signed twice. Anyway, that is what I am going to call it, thanks much.

It is common for an old team ball to be accidentally signed twice by a player.
