Default Any info on this card

I was going through a box of 1974 Topps Baseball and found this card. The back say #40 which is Jim Palmer. This should be 404. I checked it close and looks like a misprint. Has anyone else found one like this or is this that very rare one which will allow me to buy that 1957 Chevy I always wanted. Any comments would be appreciated

Considering it should be #404, looks like someone colored in that last 4?

I think it's just an over inking printing error, the 4 is still very faintly visible.

Out of curiosity I checked a few on ebay...most of those "4's" were clear...but i did find one with what looked like a factory black line through just the 4. May have had a run of them where the ink bled as you said...was hoping to find a few more like the 61 Ron Fairly....
